Original: A Connecticut woman who was stabbed repeatedly in a domestic dispute is recovering at an area hospital, officials said.
Waterbury police were called to a home in the area of Rose and Walnut Streets just before 9 a.m. on Monday, March 10, to find the 25-year-old woman suffering multiple stab wounds, authorities said.
Paramedics rushed the woman to an area hospital, where she is in serious but stable condition, Waterbury police said.
A man was taken into custody, but his name was not released, likely to protect the victim's identity.
The investigation is ongoing. Police are expected to release more information later.
